ABOUT CAMP TRUST:

Teens of foster care struggle with trust. Can they trust a God who says they are loved, yet they are hopping from home to home for their safety? Can they trust other adults?  What are the signs of trust for them to look for in others they are in a relationship with?

That’s where our name originated! At Camp TrUSt, our activities, teaching, and adventures are designed for our teens to discover what trust is and what trust is not.

We help teens in foster care create moments of joy and happiness, develop lasting friendships, discover and celebrate their courage, and make memories that remain long after they return “home”.

We invite teens, ages 12 through 15 years old, to explore the great outdoors by canoeing, swimming, archery, hiking, stargazing, rock climbing, and so much more. Our Camp TrUSt Program serves more than 60 teens residing in the northwest suburbs of Chicago..

Under the supervision of our experienced Camp TrUSt Directors, we have a team of trained and enthusiastic counselors. Our big dream is to develop our foster teens to become future counselors of upcoming kids of foster care who attend our 4-day summer camp.
